Ely Marin - Art Guide

Originally from Brazil, Ely Marin is a passionate gaming and graphic design professional who brings a diverse perspective to his work, enriching both his professional endeavors and his teaching. He graduated from Lindenwood University, where he earned his degree in Graphic Design, and also attended the Gnomon School of Visual Effects to further develop his skills.

Since 2019, he has been an instructor at WSU, where he shares his extensive knowledge and passion for game design with aspiring creatives. 

Ely has previously worked at Sony, where he collaborated with Naughty Dog on projects related to The Last of Us Part 2 and Last of Us Multiplayer, and he has also collaborated with Epic Games and Fortnite.

Ely will be guiding the student-athletes of A4A on all things graphic design.

Tayshaw Long-Nail - Art Guide

Originally from Salina, Kansas, Tayshaw Long-Nail is an artist and educator passionate about all things mixed media. She earned her associate degree in Art Education from Hutchinson Community College and completed her bachelor’s degree in Art Education at Wichita State University.

Tayshaw spent six years teaching elementary art in Wichita, where she loved inspiring creativity in her students and watching their confidence grow.

For the past year, she has been working full-time as an artist, focusing on custom commissions, small-scale murals and even exploring the world of woodworking.

Tayshaw is excited to bring her creativity, experience, and enthusiasm to A4 Academy—because you never know, there just might be a mini Michelangelo in the mix!
