Vanessa Ellis - Spanish Guide
Profesora Ellis was born and raised in Mexico, where her passion for language and culture began at an early age. As a child, she attended a Montessori bilingual school, which helped shape her deep appreciation for education and multilingual learning.
Growing up, she was actively involved in equestrian sports, particularly rodeo and traditional charrería, a vibrant part of Mexican heritage. She also spent several years practicing CrossFit, earning her Level 1 certification, which qualified her to coach others in the sport.
Profesora Ellis pursued a degree in veterinary medicine and is proud to have graduated first in her class. Her dedication, discipline, and love for learning carried over into her career as an educator.
She is happily married and, together with her husband, is currently homeschooling their three children, embracing a lifestyle rooted in family, growth, and curiosity. Their homeschooling approach includes a strong emphasis on sports and physical activity, encouraging their children to stay active, confident, and healthy.
Profesora Ellis worked as a Spanish teacher at a private school in the city, teaching students from primary, middle and high school. She was passionate about inspiring her students to connect with the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures in meaningful and engaging ways and is excited to share that all with the student-athletes at A4 Academy.
