The main benefit about your student-athlete attending A4 Academy is that you get to be 100% in charge of their curriculum.
How does your student-athlete learn best?
-
This curriculum method is a dash of Eclectic + Waldorf + Montessori homeschooling styles.
Eclectic in a sense that not everything works for everyone and each education plan is custom fit and individualized for each student. Waldorf because we are really focusing on a completely holistic and inclusive learning environment where intellectual, emotional, and physical development should be harmoniously balanced. And a little bit of Montessori style - where the learning is child led and the children can explore and learn at their own pace guided by their natural interests.
We have done- for-you curriculum guides that we will recommend, but based on the student-athlete’s personal interests we can add or edit these as needed.
IE - adding music, history or more intensive biblical studies.Workbook packages typically range from $250-500 for the year.

There are several locally accredited virtual options through Education Imagine Academy (USD259), Andover E-academy and Maize Virtual Preparatory School. While these are great local options, they also have more requirements and less flexibility/on the go capabilities - so be aware that additional time outside of the dedicated morning academic hours at A4A might be needed.
Fees vary from $75-$250 for these programs.
All of these options are child-led learning.
This is an educational approach that empowers children to take an active role in their learning journey by following their interests, curiosity, and pace. Instead of a rigid, teacher-directed curriculum, this method allows children to explore topics that excite them, fostering a love for learning and deeper engagement.
We will have a ‘guide’ available to help asks questions to questions and provide resources and support, but they won’t be involved in direct instruction.
